The Board has developed policies, codes, guidelines and supporting FAQ to help clarify our views and expectations on a range of issues. All psychologists have an obligation to ensure they are familiar with, and practise in accordance with these documents.
An approved registration standard, code or guideline is admissible in proceedings under the National Law or a law of a co-regulatory jurisdiction (NSW) against a registered psychologist as evidence of what constitutes appropriate professional conduct or practice for the profession.
